How To Make
An Ebook
Choosing The
Right Market From The Start
In this article we are going to
unveil the most important factor on how to make an ebook and
making sure it’s about a hot-on-demand-money-sucking topic.
In my opinion, and I’m talking from own experience,
this crucial step is where most people get it
wrong.
Just one more thing before we start. This article is
equally aimed to the avid writer as well as the internet
marketer who hates writing. Stick with me and you’ll see why in
a minute.
If you have read or watched any internet marketing course to
give some guidance on how to start writing your own
ebook, you’ll
probably found a chapter where the writer recommended to
“write about your passion”, “write about your favorite
hobbies”, “everyone has an expert within” or something along
those lines.
However, if you blindly follow the advice above,
unless you are so lucky to be an expert on an already very
popular subject, you’re in for trouble.
Let’s say you are an expert or your hobby is to study, and
I’m making this up, “the secret life of the Egyptian beetle”.
You can still go ahead and put your knowledge down as an ebook,
but count on a very slow selling process if any.
Probably, after months of research, typing and marketing
your product, you’ll be left wondering why the number of sales
are so lame and if the effort was worth the while.
I hope you start seeing why… Now, let’s get this right from
the start and ask ourselves the right questions.
What is people looking for on the internet?
Contrary to what many Internet Marketing gurus lead you
to believe, most people are just information seekers. Students
researching for a school task, people looking for information
on a car, a TV model, a movie, a restaurant, etc., and believe
or not, other marketers searching for information for their
products.
However, there’s still a group of people to whom you can
easily target and sell. This is a group of people looking for
immediate solutions to their pressing
problems. These people are searching the internet with
their credit card by their side. They need a solution to their
problem and they need it now. Now you know where to start.
But, how are you going to monetize on these
prospects? By writing an ebook on a solution to their
problem. Better still, it doesn’t have to be a two
hundred pages text, just a thirty to fifty pages clearly
explaining how to solve their problem and there you go,
laughing all the way to the bank.
If you are completely clueless on what to write about, do a
broad keyword/market search, but instead of second guessing,
let the market tell you what it’s looking
for.
Most people start their keyword or market research with a
fixed target in mind. Instead, use terms like "how to", "get
rid of", "help", l"earn". You’ll come up with a list of
keywords and phrases on subjects that real people are looking
for. Be a medium. Provide a solution.
Some important
considerations
Once you have defined the subject of your ebook, do
a thorough background checking on your audience. You
should consider factors like age, gender, culture, social
background and education. In other words, write for your
audience.
Write your thesis statement. This nothing
but a short paragraph clearly explaining the reasons for your
ebook and what you are going to write about. Be specific.
A thesis statement can be considered the
foundation of your work and will help you to
stay on course while writing your ebook.
Most people will be writing their ebook on MS Word.
Turn on the auto-save function. Trust me it
will spare you more than a headache. Don’t forget to
back up you document in other media such as
CD.
Some of you may be wondering how to become an expert
on a field you don’t know anything about. Well,
instead of spending countless hours of research I’m going to
let you in a fantastic ebook where everything is explained in
the greatest detail. The whole process from A to Z. I bought it
I while ago and I can only say that it’s been a real life and
time saver. In my opinion is a must-have blueprint for any
serious writer. Learn more about

If you are an internet marketer and plainly dislike writing,
don’t despair, you can still easily outsource
most of the tedious work. I’d still do the market research
myself and once I had a clear picture on which market I want to
target, then I’d go and outsource the rest.
Outsourcing can be a blessing or a nightmare for your
business if not done properly from the start. Believe me, I had
no idea where to start and was really confused on how to
contact and address people, not to mention the trust
factor.
Again, I can strongly recommend this outsourcing
service. Everything is clearly explained in text and
video. How to contact people, how to build your
team, everything. They even train your team for
you!
Even if you like to write yourself, you will be positively
amazed from how many tedious tasks can be delegated for a real
bargain. Another must have. Check it out HERE
In closing, choose your market wisely and you’ll be
handsomely rewarded.
